#MaternalMondays – Meeting Basic Needs for Moms and Babies

January 6, 2021

Meeting Basic Needs for Moms and Babies It’s the first Monday of December, and Maternal Mondays is back with the final segment of 2020! Every District mom and baby should have what they need, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tune in to hear about tangible resources for mothers of all ages and ways to play a role in ensuring that basic needs for moms and babies don’t go unmet.

Many thanks to today’s guests: Ayris Scales, Director of Serve DC – The Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism and Partnerships; Corinne Cannon, Executive Director and Founder of Greater DC Diaper Bank and Evelyn Asegieme, LGSW Social Worker for TAPP in the Women & Infant Services Department at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
